Short but worthwhile hike with a huge payoff at the end with the beautiful falls. We were happily surprised by this hike and would recommend it!

Short but covered with rocks and roots so it makes it a little more challenging. About a mile one way but steep stone steps at little falls equal to about 2 1/2 floors slow you down. The payoff at little falls is Amazing. Sun, swim, relax on rock outcrops. Beautiful view. Will go back.

Overall great views of the waterfall & river. Some parts of the trail were not shaded and lots of dead trees surrounding the trail.

Trail has great views at the end. Long rock stairs. A little tricky in a couple places but worth it. Clear water and great rocks to hang out on for the whole family

Very beautiful hike! Nice views of the canyon and river the most of the time on the trail. Gorgeous river and waterfall at the end of the trail. A 4K time warp video of the entire trail and the waterfall at HikingAlabama.com

This is the best place ever not for mountain biking what so ever maybe a nice view while road cycling but I’ve been here a few times and there is no where to cycle so don’t pack your bike although this is the best place for swimming it’s my favorite and the hippy hole is better than the actual waterfall by a long shot and most people there are friendly locals which let you have conversation with very easily would recommend 10/10 for hiking and a swimming day.

Pretty easy trail and overlooks. Rock staircase to the bottom to see the falls

after enduring the 100 degree weather in central alabama this week, the 61 degree weather this morning was an excellent change!!!! Not much to add from previous reviews, other than stone steps last few steps were tougher than I remember ( maybe it's because I'm 25+ years older and 30 lbs heavier since last time I hiked down here!!! Drought this summer has definitely taken its toll...waterfalls and river were almost nonexistent...still a great hike...

took boardwalk to waterfall, spent some time swimming on top of it, took red trail to swimming hole. nice easy hike, my dog had no issues. took a good cold swim in the swimming hole. a bit shallow in some dpots. it's super dry currently due to draught but beautiful. great access. you can literally stand on the edge of the waterfall or cross the river in many places if u like.

Loved this one! A lot of stone steps and a bit of a climb to get down to Martha Falls but so glad I did it! Beautiful scenery! Would like to see it after rainy season. We are in a drought but still had pretty waterfalls.

Easy hike that takes you to two waterfalls. The first waterfall you have to climb down to get access which is a little harder but so worth it.
