HikingGreat!

Great for our family. Not too steep but not boring. Our 3 and 5 year old needed a little support. It was safe yet exciting for them. It was a little team building for our kids. The fall was beautiful!!

it looks like it's a good trail it is Rocky and has some incline so we decided to come back and do it again we're just 8 weeks off of one of us having hip surgery and decided this wasn't a smart height for this soon.

lots of trash at the bottom and top, but a neat waterfall and cave make it worth the scramble if you are in the area

We had a blast on this hike! Short, fun, steep, uphill rocky scramble type (in some places) hike. Very cool caves, caverns and rock formations. There was no water in the falls when we went but we will definitely go back. I am sure it is gorgeous when there is water in the falls. Our daughters are 5 and 9 and had fun. They needed a hand in a couple of areas but were good for the most part. There are two other nice breakaway trails once you make it up to the falls that are worth exploring as well too. This was a fun one!

Super steep and rocky, no waterfall, and some random candles and flowers at the top, kind of creepy, we made it up and down but it wasn’t great lol

This waterfall is absolutely beautiful! You get two waterfalls that fall into a small pool. It is very secluded and you almost would miss the spot to go in because there is not designated parking just a small pull off. It is a job getting up to the waterfall because of the steep incline and rocks but SO worth it when you get there!! I highly recommend!

It is very beautiful!! I continued to walk what seemed like half mile past the falls til the trail ended. Beautiful Canyon like walls. It is a little difficult but it’s short and so worth it.

Really pretty waterfall that you can go beneath. The hike up is short but a little difficult.

Good view at the top! Definitely on the more challenging side of hikes as it’s up and often on rocks, but a moderate rating since it’s a short hike. I took my 6 year old and wore my 2 year old. It was hard, but doable. My 6 year old loved it. We went under the waterfall and followed the rock face for another 1/2 mile or more. In all, we did almost a mile. Waterfall is nice to see, too.

Took our 2 and 4 year olds. Had to help the 2 year old up some of the more rocky/steep areas but the 4 year old loved the entire hike and did it entirely on his own. Plenty of large rocks/boulders for them to scale and walking behind the waterfall was a HUGE hit! Will definitely be coming back.

Great trail - feels like middle of nowhere. Very much worth the drive from Huntsville area (65ish miles there for us). Brought the 3 and 6yo but I wouldn’t have felt comfortable without a second set of hands to make sure the kids didn’t slip off the mountain at some points. We tend to explore so we went behind the waterfall and there was a worn path but not the official trail. We explored at least another 1/2mi before we turned back because the snack monster struck. I want to take up rock climbing next - someone put the anchors in all around the mountain after you pass under the falls so there’s several places to climb and I bet it’s gorgeous up there!

There are no signs leading to it but can be found by a car pull off on the side of the road. It is an up hill climb with running water beside the trail. Large waterfall (Griffin Falls) is at the top and a view of the valley. There are other trails around the mountain top that can be explored as well.

Loved this hike! It's not a bad climb if you're used to doing any hiking or outdoor activities whatsoever. We went after a hard rain and the falls were in full swing. Beautiful place! Definitely worth the short hike!

Moderate my foot. Rocky the whole way up with steep climbs and some shady sloping ground. No markings, just follow the cleared area. Payoff isn't that great. Saw a tent at the top and the waterfall isn't that impressive.

Quick hike, all up hill on the way in - you will be hiking up rocks. There’s a nice little spot behind the falls to sit and relax. Definitely watch for snakes around the falls, we had a run-in with one.

Great little trail located in Northeast Alabama, moderate use, difficult and steep but short and very worth the trip. Visit when moderate rainfall available for the best views. The falls are approximately 120 feet from top to bottom. Most certainly a hidden treasure..
