Gazebo Trail is a 3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Atmore, Alabama that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
We went with some friends who raved about this park. FYI it does cost $2 per person to enter the park.
The trail was a dirt road all the way up to the Gazebo. The Gazebo was pretty neat. We stayed there for about an hour or two. Ate lunch, stayed in hammocks and relaxed. I wasn't impressed with the trail very much as it was as mentioned before, a dirt road, but other than that the Gazebo was nice. When you get back to the main area it was pretty where all the water was. There was a little trail going across the water on the opposite side of the dam that was pretty.
you may want to check this trail out at Little River State Park. There is talk of the park being closed in October. Pine Savannah, so beautiful, and so many birds. The walk is light to moderate and well maintained. An Easy walk for the entire family with a gazebo to have lunch and enjoy the view.
