Well kept trail. I usually combine this with other trails and do about 5 miles. Beautiful South Alabama forests! However, the trailhead is not exactly where the map says it is. The first part of what is shown is a road and the trailhead begins at the end of the road.

Very nice trail. Many more to chose from in the park. The ranger said about 26-28 miles total in park.

This is the first southern hike I've done, and it definitely didn't disappoint. There are a ton of different routes in this area. Many different historic sites to check out, and lots of information on the native plants and animals available throughout the trail. Very pretty too!

This was a really nice trail. The only negative is that it cost $4 per adult and $3 per child to take the trails.

Easy trail with a few technical ones here and there - mixes with dirt roads - hard to get lost - best trail runs anywhere near mobile - I always park right at this trail head where the attached directions take you - it is 4 dollars per person to enter the state park

Great scenery. Hard to get lost, as one trail will lead you to the next and eventually out. Tried multiple different routes. Very nice place.

This was a great trail with some relatively steep inclines for the area, some great views and lots of variety. Site allows primitive camping and open air cabins for rent as well. Only drawback is the flooding in the lowlands makes it difficult to cross, unless you want to get extremely muddy, so we turned back and took an alternate path to complete our hike. All in all, a great site! Will go again.

This is an easy trail with lots to see. There's a spring feed creek. A wet lands area with a rustic Boardwalk. Look for the giant magnolia tree. It is a special type of magnolia that is indigenous to the local area.

Great trail. As a boardwalk area over the marsh and a crystal clear spring fed creek along the way. Look for the giant magnolia trees. They are a beautiful species of the common ones we are all use to seeing.
