The Yellow Trail at Oak Mountain State Park is a also known as the Foothills Trail. This trail begins at the North Trail Head and heads south. You can also hike it by starting at the south Trail head and heading north. This trail has many ups and downs as it rises and falls along many ridges. At about 2.8 miles in, near the BMX track, the bridge to cross the creek is out. Not an issue when water levels are low. At 5.8 miles there is a newly constructed bridge.
