Nice Trail! Shaded, beautiful creek and plenty of benches and even a picnic table along the way!
Perfect. A little warm right now for this trail but when Nov & Dec come around it will be spectacular!
Love this trail. Absolutely beautiful along the creek and so many large rocks and scenery. A lot of private little beach areas on the creek. Snake activity is definitely present. Not really moderate. A lot of roots and rocks but very few inclines and trail is clear and easy to follow.
I really enjoyed this trail! It was an easier hike than others in the area. I have RA and can’t do most inclines and since I go alone I’m also afraid I’ll get hurt or something, but besides going down it wasn’t bad at all. Pretty easy for me! And it’s beautiful! The quietness and stream makes it so serene. I did find a few bugs on me (I’m definitely not a fan of bugs), but since the trees surround the path a little bit more I wasn’t surprised. It’s a pleasant walk. I wasn’t sure if it kept going or eventually looped, though, and I didn’t want to keep going to find out I had to walk all the way back.
A hidden little gem just off 280 near Birmingham. A well maintained trail along a creek. Trees are not marked but the trail doesn’t really doesn’t need it. This trail has a little bit of everything a few small hills, plenty of pretty places to take pictures and a short rock garden to walk through. I followed one side trail at least a quarter a mile up a steep hill and it just seem to keep going. Anyone know where it goes to or if it circles around? A perfect place for people new to hiking or just have time to get a short hike in.
We hiked this trail at the peak of Mountain Laurel bloom. The whole trail was stunning and this must be where Mt. Laurel, AL gets its name!
great trail for families and pets. minimal inclines and benches along the way.
Trail doesn’t need to be marked unless you’re blind. Beautiful, easy and well maintained.
Awesome trail with plenty of water for my Saint Bernard to enjoy!
This was a very lovely, very easy walking trail through the woods. The trail is not a marked trail, but it is easy to follow out and back. To label this “hike” as moderate is really kind of an overstatement. It’s an easy walk. Good for any fitness level. And it is really lovely.
Very easy trail. Picturesque with bridges, water and rocks and just lots of beautiful nature. Never had any issues with the upkeep of this trail and it’s especially nice after some rainy days when the water is higher. There are a couple bench and picnic table spots. Sometimes the bathrooms at the soccer fields on one end are unlocked.
