Description
Waypoints (1)

A nice short paved trail with multiple trail options to reach the bottom of the falls. There is a parking fee. Accessibility: There are 2 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot on County Road 613 at the east end of the trail. Both of them are van-accessible with a striped access aisle. The trail surface is paved (with partial railings near steep drop-offs) and typically at least 3 feet wide. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (5% or less) except for a steep (8-12%) downhill section closer to the overlook. Trail goers/hikers using wheelchairs/mobility equipment or strollers may need assistance in the steeper sections or to avoid them for safety. There are benches and picnic tables along the route for resting.

If you can’t do the trails to the bottom, this is a great alternative to see the overlook

Honestly so pretty. From the top you don't get an amazing view so I'd highly recommend hiking to the bottom if you have time. Beautiful easy walk. ---whimpy average hiker

So beautiful. Do the top where you pay to park but also so the trail that leads to the bottom of the fall. You can take several different trails to get to the bottom. We did the river trail down and icebox cave trail back up

Not really a trail, but the falls are quite beautiful. $4 Parking fee, but you take the pass you get here and head into the southern portion of the park and do Laurel and Lost Falls too!

What an awe inspiring sight! Even though it's a drive up destination, it is well worth it. We hiked at nearby Desoto State park and finished our day by taking the short drive to this incredible waterfall. So impressive. The staircase to the falls has a very impressive mosaic on the risers, very imaginative work by those involved.

I would not really classify this as a trail. Really just stairs down to the overlook where you get a nice view of the falls. Nice place for a picnic. $4 admission per carload.
