You would never think this would lead to a beautiful secluded beach, but it does. But it’s not for the faint of heart. It’s short and not steep, but very overgrown. Anyone under 5’ tall will be walking with the vegetation all around. Having said all that, the beach is worth the trip. It’s not as clear and blue as Magens and some others, but there is no one there. Take anything you want to eat or drink and enjoy the serenity!

I wish I had thought to take a picture of the gate where you park so you know what you are looking for since it is all overgrown with vines and very easy to miss entirely. There is a small hole in the chain link fence to the left of the gate where you enter. From there, just follow the bits of yellow caution tape all of the way to the beach. There are a couple of spots where the trail is in a little creek bed and then steps back out, just keep following the caution tape and you will be fine. There are a couple of downed power poles and downed trees that you'll have to climb over, but not too difficult. The trail is definitely overgrown. It is like walking through a rainforest. We did not have problems with mosquitoes, but we hiked in the morning. I suspect you will need bug spray as the day gets warmer. There were a lot of spiders with webs stretched across the trail. Lots of beautiful flowers! And you will likely have the beach all to yourself. Beautiful hike! Would definitely do it again.

We had so much fun on this hike. There were No other people around and it was great for all ages. It is only about 20 minutes down and about the same back up. We went with myself, my husband our 6 and 14 year old. It is very overgrown and fun to try to see where the trail goes. There are yellow caution tapes pieces that will keep you on the correct path. Fun thing to do with your family if you like to hike. We had gone after it rained so we were all dirty at the end. The kids thought it was great!

Great hike to gorgeous beach. Did it in flip flops. Toward end, wandered off overgrown trail by mistake, but followed stream (2.5 feet water) straight to pristine beach. No problem. Enjoy this little slice of heaven.

There is a gate covering the entrance of the trail with a “No trespassing sign” ....but pay it no attention. The hike is a nice nature walk with some steep sections and not very challenging. The beach was incredible and we had it all to ourselves!! The only issue was the lack of shade on the beach and the scalding hot sand, but we put some towels out and were just fine. The water was amazing with lots of fish and some small rocks/reefs here and there. If you’re on St Thomas and looking for a local secret this is the place! We had lots of fun and it was an unbeatable beach.
