Fantastic hike, summiting 3 peaks. We went up from the east parking lot and moved along the ridge to the west. It seemed everyone else went up from the west and came down the east side. That route will spare you some skree on the way down but i think either direction is good. Spectacular views, spectacular landscape. Nice and reasonably strenuous hike. We were looking for Bidean Nam Bian (further west, as it turns out, but were very pleased with this hike).

Great views worth the hike up. Took me and my mom 7 hours for the loop including many stops for photos. Gets a bit scrambly on the way down definitely recommend having poles (we didn’t though). Met a bunch of other hikers up there. Happy to have bagged my first and second Munro here!

The trail starts where the recorded trail leaves the road. There is ample parking here instead.

It may not be the most exciting hill to walk up, but it has some of the best views in the area. You need to be solid on your feet and poor ground. In snowy conditions this route takes a line prone to avalanche and a surprising incident rate.
