Walk or scramble across the sand and up to Fossil Rock. For parking, it's probably more convenient to park on the tarmac road next to Sha'byat Al Khattmah Mosque (coordinates 25.1352461, 55.8433335) rather than the starting point shown on the trail due to quality of access road.
