Xianjiyan Trail is a 1.2 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Wenshan, Taipei City, Taiwan that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips.
This is a very easy and quick hike if you don’t have a lot of time or just want to get out of the busy streets of the city for a little while. It offers pretty decent views of the city in certain spots.
Metro to Jingmei Station (捷運景美站), then about a 10 minute walk to start of trail on Jingxing Road. One entrance is opposite 222 Jingxing Road, Jingmei, Taipei (台北市文山區景興路222號). There are multiple paths to take to make it out & back or get out at another point.
Nice walk, even the last part to Coast Guard Trailhead is dirt trail, still quite safe to walk under the light rain weather.
Decent, easy hike - lots of separate paths that seem to run parallel to each other, so it’s very easy to go up one way and back the other.
