Starts at the wooden bridge and continues along the gravel road. Pass lots of Swiss cabins in the valley, still along the gravel road. As the valley narrows the road continues on up the river course. Eventually the gravel road goes steeply up above the river. Views are amazing throughout the hike. To get closer to the falls you have to veer off the road and scramble along the uneven fields where the cows graze. You can get reasonably close to the falls. More adventurous folks might even be able to get to the base of the falls but that requires some scrambling and bouldering and crossing two rivers. The way back crosses the river at a bridge and completes the loop. Restaurant Bargis is a great place to start and end.
