Blausee is a wonderful area that has a hotel and restaurant overlooking the lake. There are several different trails in the area that lead through the surrounding forest as well as a direct paved path that goes from the parking lot to the restaurant. They have a shuttle to provide assistance to anyone not wanting or able to make the short journey to the lake allowing this to be a perfect entire family day trip. The views of the surrounding mountains, the crystal clear water of the lake and the ability to sit and enjoy a koffe-lutz while breathing it all in make this a must do! It is very popular with locals so weekends and holidays can be very busy.

Not really a hike but a short walk around a small lake. Lake itself is beautiful but crowded.

I enjoyed this trail with my parents and grand daughter recently. The trail is easy enough for small children to walk while being able to feel that they are exploring a deep forest. The lake is small, crystal clear and beautiful. The water is so clear that you can see the fish!
