Hofsnäs-Torpanäset is a state nature reserve established in 2002. The reserve covers 159 hectares. It includes grazing land with many old oak trees, which is the reason why the highly threatened hermit beetle is one of the insects that thrives here. The land is grazed during summer. The area is easy to visit. With fishing, swimming, boat hire, lean-tos and barbecue sites in the immediate vicinity.

A wonderful walk in the nature reserve, with spectacular colours in the oak trees. Coffee and a cinnamon bun in Hofsnäs afterwards = an excellent way of spending an autumn sunday.
