This trail extends from Domsten through Helsingborg. You will have good views of the sound. You will pass Sofiakällan, Sweden's only source of salt water. There are also man made forests in Kulla Gunnarstorp and Pålsjö. There are many castles along the route, including the summer castle of King Oscar II. Keep an eye out for Skåne's windmill, the largest Dutchman. Helsingborg is located at Öresund's neck and dates back to the Viking Age. It is a strategic location that allowed the city to host one of the most powerful fortresses in the Nordic countries during the Middle Ages.
