The Kortelshuvud trail starts at the southern end of the Stenshuvud National Park. There is ample free parking available (~20 cars). The trail starts by going up the head on a moderate inclined somewhat rocky trail. The views from the head on a clear day are spectacular. The trail continues through deciduous forest to the visitors center parking lot, then east to the beach. The walking is easy on this sandy beach, with patches of round stones. The last component of the hike rolls by a small creek and finally ends back at the parking area.
