Remnants from WW2 can also be found in idyllic areas of Sweden, during WW2 this area was militarized due to the possible invasion of Nazi Germany from Norway. Today there are possibly 100 remnant of bunkers, dugouts and trenches above and around Fulunäs, a semi circle or anti tank rocks can clearly be seen. This 1 hour trail takes you past some of these remains. The trail starts from the Solider statue at the road junction of 311 and W1054 to Trysil, go north about 800 meters along the road and turn right up the gravel road, after another 200 meters turn right again, this tack passes the anti tank barrage and a number of bunkers, keep your eyes open mother nature has camouflaged them well past the past 80 years, the trail becomes narrower and less well, eventually reaching the anti tank barrage, Either return the same way or follow the stream 1oo meters down to the road, and down to the river.
