Beautiful hike with a very strenuous start from the bottom to the top of the Pico de la Miel (Honey Peak), where you will often have to scramble. Once you are up on top, the trail is very easy to follow and has very little elevation gain. The ascent to Cancho Gordo, the highest point of the ridge, is not as strenuous as the first part of the hike, and the views are really rewarding. It is easy to spot griffon vultures all the way, sometimes they get quite close! There are also chances of spotting Spanish ibex. Hiking down from Cancho Gordo via Collado Alfrecho is an easy track to follow, but watch out for the gravel and lose sand. When you reach the bottom, head East and cross the town to the beginning of the trail.
