The route mainly runs along riverside paths and some forest tracks. From the Carballeira de Carbalinchán and specifically from Coto das Mos or Coto da Bouza de Mogo, formed by impressive rocky terraces, you can see beautiful views of the parish of Viascon. From the Bouza do Mogo mill, the road follows an extraordinary place bordering the Cabanelas river. Water and mills (Mallo, Reboredo, Veiga ...) form a beautiful landscape where you can enjoy pools and streams. Again in the San Xián bridge, the path continues parallel to the river upstream. Between the rich vegetation of the rivers, the mills of Abaixo, Chachopo, Arriba, Casa da Alvariza and the Aceñas de Abaixo mill are the last one, one of the most interesting for its conservation status. In the village of Cabanelas, you can visit Plaza do Quinteiro with its fountain, laundry room and numerous barns with an outstanding artisan architecture. The route is completed by visiting the Aceñas de Arriba y Novo mills. A short stretch of road continues along the county road towards Carballedo to ascend towards the Coto de Castro and enjoy an excellent panoramic view. After visiting the petroglyphs of Laxes, the path returns to the national and Viascón, continuing through a small circular path that links again with the main axis. This extension of the path visits the mills of Fonteseca, Barbeitos, the Molino Grande in the river Lérez and, finally, the rectory and cruceiro house in A Igrexa.
