From Ponte Basebe to San Pedro de Ribeira it is, without a doubt, its environmental character, which marks the route: paths of fishermen, carriageways, large forests, bushy rocks, hidden waterfalls and the important natural place known as Pozo do Pego.Desde Ponte Basebe, descending next to the right bank of the Ulla, the riverside woods, the remains of the mills and the abandoned ouriceiras in the midst of a beautiful natural spot, to the Cascada del Infierno and Los Muíños de Quintas, to discover Near the ruins of the Pazo de San Cristovo. The route enjoys the backwaters of the Pozo do Pego before finishing on the road in San Pedro de Ribeira. You always have to pay attention to discover our lost herons. They are very primitive constructions, usually made of small stone walls forming a circle, which were located in the forests to collect and store the chestnut hedges, in order to protect the wild boar.
