This is an excursion that follows, in part, route number 6 of the Natural Park of the Serra de Montsant. Access to the Tormo (also known as Tormo del Frare), a reddish sandstone monolith on the outskirts of Vilella Alta. This rock stands out between fields of vineyards and under the cliffs of Montsant. It was a worship cult of the Visigothic period, where several anthropomorphic tombs, Latin and Greek crosses engraved on the rock, a walled canopy that could have had oratorial functions, etc. were located. The route begins at pk 15 on the Vilella highway in Escaladei. The Pouets ravine (it is necessary to follow the marks of the natural park), but attention because the bush is considerable and there is some losing point. In less than two kilometers you will reach the stoneware monolith. The return can be done on the track.
