Nice enough but I wouldn't say it was fantastic coastline! we completed each way in 1.45 mins at a brisk pace. The bar at the lighthouse is very expensive but ideal for a quick snack and some fluids!

This was a nice hike along a mostly rocky trail with some beautiful views of the coast and hills. Nice aromas as you pass through sage and thyme and old olive orchards. Not much shade. Wildlife was a striped racer lizard, scarab beetles, calling cicadas, velvet ant?, gulls. My only negative was that the first 1.5 miles is mostly on streets in town and in neighborhoods. If you want to avoid that there was a dirt parking lot at a trail crossing somewhere around 1.5 miles which had room for about a dozen cars. You will cross near several pretty coves with beaches. We went for a refreshing swim in one labeled as a nudist beach about ½ mile before lighthouse. It was a very small beach w only room for a dozen people but beautiful view and clear water. Was a mix of nude, topless and clothed bathers. Restaurant at top was very nice for a well deserved beverage. Note, be careful if you only want to go one way like us. After dinner at restaurant we tried to call the local taxi but he did not answer. There is presently no Uber. The restaurant staff helped us get a ride with some friendly French tourists who were heading back to Cadaqués... very sweet of them. One funny note was that when we got back to our car at Cadaqués public parking lot we were greeted by 3 wild pigs (peccaries?) looking for handouts. Despite our alarm at first they were friendly and wagging tails.

Ran in the heat of the day (11:30am-2pm) and it was very very hot. Not a lot of shade so if you’re looking for a Spanish tan, it’s a great route. I would highly recommend this as a day trip run! Had a blast, lots of cool sights to see at the end There is also a restaurant at the end point for water!!!
