Sierra Subbetica Natural Park is composed of several mountain ranges located southeast of the province of Córdoba. It is formed of sedimentary materials of marine origin such as; limestones, marls and dolomites. El Bermejo is one of the highest peaks in the park. The rail starts from the Vichira farmhouse, which, although abandoned today, still holds the splendor of older times. You will pass the Barranco de las Labores ravine. Keep an eye out for the Garden of the Moor and the Nasrid fortress. After the ascent you will descend through gall oaks, holm oaks, wild rosebushes, and wild roses. Until finally you will pass the cherry fountain.
