NOTE: This trail is closed for remediation from mid-January to mid-February. Please contact the park before attempting this hike. Great hike in the city. Well marked and amazing 360 degree views. Moderate is the right rating as there are some sections with exposure. More difficult routes with scrambling options available. If you want to find Wally's Cave: go past the first ladder (do not go up it), go the old bench and go DOWN to the LEFT, traverse until you see an opportunity to scramble up to the right. If you go too high you'll end up on a flat lookout with a steep drop off.

There is a parking lot opposite the start of the path along Signal Hill Rd. On popular days (especialy full moons), this lot fills quickly and one often has to park much further along the road.

Great trail with 360 degree views of the city and Atlantic seaboard. Easily up and down before or after work.

Fun trail! Very popular so expect a crowd and expect a queue for the ladders.

Great walk. Shame the top was in cloud. Awesome views further down. Can be tricky in places.

This is an awesome hike that I could do everyday - most epic views anywhere, great elevation gain for a short hike. My third time over the last week with Clara Erickson! Love the ladders and vertical scrambles!

Hiked at sunset with Clara Erickson. We started at the trailhead at ~6:30 pm and there were tons of people hiking at this time, some bringing beer to drink and others a bottle of wine. Lots of waiting when we got to the ladder area. Very cool sunset and relaxed vibe on the top. We stayed until there was still 10-15 minutes left before it would be getting real dark, hiking in The dark on the lower part of the trail. It was very cool seeing all of the lights coming down the peak after sunset. In the lower part of the trail we saw 2 Scorpions and almost stepped on them! Probably not a good idea to wear flip flops on the sunset hike! This is clearly one of my favorite hikes ever given the views and ladders!!

This is one of the most beautiful hikes and scrambles I have ever been on. The views are incredible and the ladders, handholds, chains and the exposure make the hike slightly scary —- a requirement for a truly great hike.

Great morning hike - round trip took about 2 hours with a break at the top. Benches along the way. Rock scrambling, ladders, and heights.

Amazing!! Did this in April on a beautiful sunny day but Bring a sweater for the top as it gets quite chilly and weather can be changeable. Incredible views
