Poorly marked trail, but basically follow the river with around 4 river crossings. Start at the parking provided next to truck weight bridge. Route is fairly flat but when wet, can be slippery. Take water, warm clothes, and keep some dry socks and shoes in your car for when you return. Pack a lunch to enjoy at the waterfalls. Dont forget your Cape Nature Permits.

This hike is best enjoyed early morning (before the heat of the day during summer). Two incredible Waterfalls await you about 2 hours of hiking from the starting point. Breathtaking views along the crystal clear waters of the Kromrivier guide you into the Kloof towards the Waterfalls (climbing up a section with chains will be needed to reach the big waterfall), making way for a revitalizing hike. *Remember getting your permit *Going in a group *Taking lots of water or simply filling up directly from the flowing river streams *Taking deep breaths, smiling and being one with mother nature

Barely a trail at times but it’s easy to follow the river up and down. Beautiful canyon and lovely waterfall with a nice pool for swimming. Plenty of other spots to swim in the river along the way. Some scrambling up rocks at times and lots of vegetation growing onto the trail.
