This trail led me to download this app. Missed the turn for the India Venster route because the trail is hidden behind the sign. Continued on the contour trail until found the chain leading up. Hike proceeded to get even harder from there. The last bit I would recommend climbing safety gear for anyone not used to free climbing. While there are adequate foot and handholds, the consequences for missed grip or fatigue are catastrophic. American hikers are used to overblown caution signs usually directed at novices; believe the hype on this one. Great views and amazing that this qualifies as a trail.

This trail requires use of chains and should not be attempted by anyone with a fear of heights. It is not well marked in spots so best to go with someone familiar with the route. If you’re comfortable with exposure to heights and using chains to ascend between rocks, it’s a beautiful hike.
