Well marked trail. Stay focused as it is a meandering route. One may be tempted to take shortcuts but remember, that’s not the main aim.
The 11km trail is quite flat and a nice route to get some mileage on your legs - this route does not go over the hill with the trail being just around the base. Used this route to test a heavier hiking bag as prep for a multi-day hike. The signage is a bit confusing - it led us back to the starting point after about 1km. We then restarted and found the correct route. The trail has a change of terrain which is nice (some forest and a view of the dam). Would recommend as an easy-going trail.
The most beautiful trail ever! The trees, the lake, river and the waterfall! Absolutely breathtaking views. The signage is easy to follow. Only downside- there’s cattle roaming around, which can be quite scary. And the foot bridges made of steel have huge spaces in-between which could easily lead to an injury.
