January 31, 2021I went trail running and chose the green route which is the hiking trail as well. wow the scenery and paths were amazing but be warned when you run a trail made for hiking it is not smooth going - it is hard work. This is no walk in the park. The mountain bike trails although longer may be a faster run. I will be back to do the other trails.

January 24, 2021Cradle Moon trail is an easy walk, not really a hike. Definitely more of a mountain biking venue than one for hiking. Upside - it's close by to Jhb. However, it's also super busy. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a peaceful hike.

October 22, 2020Awesome trail, only did 5km because we got there late. The signage is not bad, but please ask which colours trail to follow before you start otherwise you will get lost. Beautiful scenery, the 5 km is flat and more for walks than a hike.

September 27, 2020The trail is well marked and has great textured variety. Walking in bushveld & forrest areas with some beautiful views of the dam and surrounding areas. We also enjoyed a variety of wildlife. The venue and facilities were amazing. The criticism is however the number of people on the trail. It was overcrowded and thus unpleasant. With the number of people the litter and noise was not desirable. I will come back, however avoid weekends & public holidays
