This is a wonderful trail for people who don't want to go too much off the beaten track. It's covered in concrete, but at times quite steep, so still a challenge. There are some beautiful views of steep cliff faces and basalt beches. A delight for anyone who liked birdwatching; there are plenty of seagulls, but also cormorants and gannets galore. It is getting more popular, but is not too crowded quite yet.

Lovely wander on a Wednesday afternoon. Bit gusty but the rain lighthouse provides nice shelter for a bite to eat. The views don’t get much better than this.

pretty much all of the trail is concrete and some of it has steps for the heavy incline. there are some very interesting views on the way down to the lighthouse and backup

Wee lambs on the trail and lots of sheep droppings. The elevation drop & gain is a lung buster.

Breathtaking scenery and fabulous views. It wasn’t to crowded when we arrived but it was early on Sunday morning. It was getting busier when left a couple of hours later.

Amazing views for the entire trail. Remote location, but it is worth it.

Great little walk. Parking can get full since it is becoming a popular sight on Skye. Before going down the main stairs for the path go off to the right and get a gorgeous view from the upper cliff! I strongly suggest seeing at sunset. Prepare for the wind and random rain showers than come and go!
