West Highland Way Day 8, Inveronan to Glencoe Mountain, 14.5 km. This is an easy unsheltered hike on an ancient military road/path in good condition. Much of the way is uphill, but the incline is very mild. You will travel in the valley/lower slopes of a series of increasingly larger hills/mountains until you arrive at Glencoe Mountain, the site of a ski hill. The usual stopping place and accommodation is a little further along at Kings House hotel. This works out well for staying in Glencoe Village, about a 20 minute drive from the ski hill.
