A good challenging hike with fantastic views going as far as Ben Nevis. The descent is tough on the knees.

A good challenging hike with fantastic views going as far as Ben Nevis. The decent is tough on the knees for elderly hikers. Trekking poles help a lot.

The views are amazing but the initial start to the hike is up a brook so if there’s been any rain it becomes very hard work. However persevere for a few km and the views are a delight. Zero protection from Wind or Rain (or Snow) but hey ho - wear more layers.
