I lived in St. Vincent for the early part of my life and have always wanted to hike Soufriere. Finally got the chance to aboout 2 yrs ago with my family. Amazing hike! Amazing views of the island from the top. Amazing being able to see into the crater. It was so cool seeing the change in terrain and foliage as we got closer to the top, about 3 different levels. Each level has it's own type of plant. Once you see the Soufriere plant, you'll know you're close to the top, even though it might not seem like it. There are a couple good rest stops, first being a dried river bed and getting to this first rest stop was tiresome enough. It took my family about 2 hrs to get to the top going from the Windward side of the island. We didn't get to go into the crater as it was too windy. It was so windy we had to stay low to the ground to look into the crater. A must do it you're into hiking.

"Well organized tour in the beautiful surroundings of St. Vincent. We felt very safe all the time. Our tour guide was excellent in knowledge, we enjoyed his explanations."
