We did the walk from encumeada to the summit of Pico Grande and back instead of going until Boca da Corrida. Demanding day with very nice views over varied terrain. The climb to Pico Grande from the crest is demanding but totally worth it. Acces to the summit by scrambling on exposed terrain. Not for beginners. Watch your step. Overall a very pleasant walk.
