The trail of closed railway lines: Ostróda - Miłomłyn. The railway line No. 257, 11.4 km long, connected Ostróda with Miłomłyn. The railway track with standard gauge gauge - 1435 mm, has never been electrified. Single track. The line was opened in 1893, closed for passenger traffic in 1992, and for freight in 1994. The last special train passed this way in 2006 (SN61 bus). In October 2006 the line was demolished :( On the route a few hundred meters behind the Ostróda station, a bridge over the isthmus of Drwęckie Lake, with a preserved track fragment. Further in two places a bridgehead of the old viaducts. Poorly legible under the snow cover traces of the Piławka stop located in the middle of the forest. Partial demolition in front of Miłomłyn a few years ago, the viaduct over the Miłomłyn - Liwa road. Complete station buildings in Miłomłyn. Beautiful, frosty weather (-12 degrees) added charm to the walk.
