The Tablelands are an UNESCO world heritage site. It is a beautiful and unique place! Hikers are permitted to adventure off the main trail and navigate their own trail up or around the mountains using a park provided map of the area. I highly recommend this option for experienced hikers only. As the top of the Tablelands is 719m and the terrain is mostly loose rock. But the ascent to the top of the Tablelands is completely worth the work!
