Description
Waypoints (0)

The hike is short and steep, offering stunning views of the waterfall, Flam and Sognefjord. Follow the wooden sign to the Brekkefossen Waterfall. The waterfall is visible from the road, half-hidden behind a wooded knoll. The rocky trail quickly gains elevation alongside a forested ridge. Soon, the small city of Flam is visible through the trees, showing just how much elevation you’ve gained. The trail switchbacks up the rocky knoll, traversing through wooded cow pasture.

Hiked this trail while waiting for the boat in Flåm. It was pretty packed with people going up and down. Pretty steep too, I had to catch an old guy's hand for him not to tremble down the trail, while descending. So not a walk in the park but worth it. Amazing views of both waterfall and fjord. Great way to kill some waiting time!
