A muddy walk along Lake Ågvatnet, with chains to assist on the steeper parts. The trail goes over Stokkvikskaret Pass to Stokkvikvatnet, and finally onto Stokkvika village.

It's a great wild hike. A lot of side tracks to avoid mud. But do not lie to yourself, you will walk in it. Nevertheless we went quite far anyway. On the other hand, you have to be resourceful, jump rocks, climb. We are closer to trekking. If I did not want to walk in the mud, we will have made a more touristy hike. Do not forget to look up to look at other tracks and landscapes.

Hiked from the parking lot at the end of the road near Å up the hill to Agvatnet Lake. Nice trail on rock with some altitude and beautiful views. If you get to the end of the road, I recommend hiking up the hill, rather than sticking near the point and parking lot.

Track was very muddy and the start of the trail a bit hard to find... but it was fairly easy to follow once we reached the lake. a few rocky sections had chains, which was fun. Didn't get all the way to Stokkvikskaret as it was a bit foggy, and my 8-yr old son was starting to get tired (and almost lost a shoe in the mud)!
