Summit hike to Slogen from Øye is a 4.1 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Norangsfjorden, Møre og Romsdal, Norway that offers scenic views and is only recommended for very experienced adventurers. The trail is primarily used for hiking and nature trips and is best used from June until October.
This is the shortest and steepest ascent to the top of the Slogen. The tour is suitable for those who like to hike up steep slopes. The tour starts at about sea level and reaches the summit with an altitude of 1,564 meters after 3.3 km. During the ascent you have a phenomenal view towards Hjørungfjord, Norangsdalen and the majestic peaks that surround the valley. After about 1200 meters you are on the ridge that leads to the summit of Slogen. The plateau is airy and not particularly large, but offers an indescribably beautiful view of a green-blue fjord and the alpine, snow-capped mountains.
