Simple walk up Ulriken, the highest of Bergen's seven mountains. The trail offers stunning views of Bergen in all directions. Ulriken cable car station at the top is also the trail head for dozens of hikes in the "vidda" mountain plateau. Though technically simple, the last kilometer of the walk has a steep 20%+ grade. The trail includes two stairways built by Sherpa. The hike down can be slippery in the rain or snow. One option is to hike up the mountain, and take the cable car back down.
