Mérida Waterfall is a 7.2 kilometer moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Mérida, Rivas, Nicaragua that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until November.

There were some tricky spots for footing in the rocks and a chain that you can hold for support only some of the way going up to the waterfall. Beautiful hike, you can hear the monkeys calling all over.

Ferry ride over and a one hour drive to trail head. Remote spot with monkeys along the trail. Be sure to have plenty of water for the tropics conditions. Cool pond atop to cool off.
