Peter's Pool Walk is a 1.8 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Whataroa, West Coast, New Zealand that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and trail running.

June 19, 2020Nice short, easy trail and depending on the weather you might even get a better mirror picture here than Lake Matheson. If you're a keen hiker and its a nice, dry day do yourself a favor and do Robert's track!! One of my favorites and the closest you'll get to the glacier without a helicopter tour.
June 18, 2020Really easy trail. Unfortunately after Peter's Pool the road was blocked by a huge tree and impossible to continue. Still a nice view.

First to ReviewShort, easy hike. If it is clear you have stunning views at the pond. If it is cloudy, it’s just an easy walk to a small pond. Not crowded at all though!!
