good mix of pine and native trees, number of creek crossings, and even going though an old mining tunnel. Enjoyed the walk but could have skipped the town end and just taken the car to bottom of Blue Spur MTB Park instead. This is using mtb trails, so you could come across bikes on the suggested trail. Was fairly quiet when we were there though. Handy to have a walking pole too. Quite steep downhill in some places.
