awesome ride but very exposed. horrendously windy on the Featherston side of the summit. There is a part where they recommend cyclists get off and walk and we did.
Otherwise a great ride glad we have done it both ways. took about 3.5 hours return

great trail rode this with the family yesterday. Rode from the Te Marua side to the summit and back down. 21km all up.

The incline suggests a steep walk but even though uphill all the way to Summit was a very achievable day walk. Loved it.

Good mountain bike track. Did this with a company that picked us up from the other side which was helpful.

This is a great trail, bit of a climb up to the summit but defintely runnable. There are tunnels so take a head torch (or other light). Once at the top, it id downhill to the carpark.
