$10/adult. Nice walk down to the beach, then another few hundred meters to the u-shaped cave. Very windy and cold today. Wear appropriate waterproof footwear or practice your long jump because you may have to leap over some water to get there. The return trip up the hill may be quite steep for some. My health app said the entire journey equaled “24 floors” worth of elevation change.

I cannot give this an accurate star rating because I’ve never actually been able to do the hike. Two years in a row I’ve attempted the hike in late July - early August and the trail has been closed both years. This year there is a sign up that it will reopen in October. I thought I would post this for any visitors who are attempting this in the winter months.

Stunning walk through the bush to the beach then caves. Downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back. Caves are amazing and worth the walk to see them at low tide. Happy to pay the $5 each for road maintenance etc. Take cash.

Great Walk though old bush down to the beach, then less than 10 mins to caves. Get there 1 hr before low tide. Doesn't take long to explore cave, but you must be out of the car park by 2 hrs after low tide. $5 for adults $1 kids. Check their website for low tide times.

Easy down and back. The highlight is the caves. Go in low tide, then explore the cave. There is a second cave, check it out, but you will get wet. Bring your camera.
