Moeraki Boulders Trail is a 0.6 kilometer moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Hillgrove, Otago Region, New Zealand that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. There is more to this area than meets the average tourist's eye! Start the walk at Hampden north of the Moeraki at an outgoing tide and you will find a graveyard of disintegrated boulders along the way. You can even see two boulders appearing from the rocks above the beach! After the 'real' boulders continue on along b the Millennium Walkway to the village. Return to Hampden for the best Fish and Chips ever or treat yourself to an enormous one-stop icecream at the 4 Square there!
