Excellent views of lake wanaka! Moderate hike but challenging enough!
good hike with nice view on the wanaka lake. could be dangerous at some place (very narrow)
Enjoyed the rock scramble on the west side of the loop. Super duper windy at the top. Did not expect that. Lots of people.
Diamond Lake to Rocky Mountain is well worth the steady climb to the top. No use just going to the Wanaka Lake Lookout when you can have a 360 degree view of Aspiring National Park with a bit more effort. I recommend walking West to East when you get to the fork. Signs are posted.
Nice moderate hike and great views for the short distance. Excellent views of the mountains surrounding Wanaka.
