Wonderful 3 Day hike in Banks Peninsula. Very contrasted scenery, ocean , forest, grassland , beech Forrest tree ferns a big diversity each day. Abundance of birds . Flea Bay ha a penguin boxes across slopes . Beautiful bays . This is a PRIVATE & FEE Based track. https://www.bankstrack.co.nz/ Options included 2 day or 3 day . Very Unique & quirky accommodation & well maintained track with lots of conservation activities. The ALL TRAILS map is incorrect & needs to be updated ; on day route is up Opatuti track & then Tara ridge then Purple Ridge.

Nice track with good coastal views. Easy enough to do in two days but three days allows you to stay at Flea Bay which is lovely, despite the name.
