Done this one in November 2015, I'd recommend doing it earlier as walking up this in 32 degrees (celcius) is quite hard. I think on the DOC site they recommend doing this one in May. The view is definitely worth it, being the highest peak in Banks Peninsula you can see everything from Tai Tapu, Halswell, CBD, Lyttelton, New Brighton and more. Truly epic 360 views!
