Great trail, starts to get a bit steeper towards the end but not to difficult and the views at the summit are worth it.

An amazing hike away from the city of Auckland. The summit hike is the most popular on the island. There were a lot of good bird sightings, so bring binoculars if you have them. The volcanic rock can be tricky so make sure to watch your step. Gets steep toward the top and slippery as the terrain changes. The crater track at the top is also worth a look. It is incredible to imagine what the inside looked like at one time.

Great trail, starts to get a bit steeper towards the end but not to difficult and the views at the summit are worth it. Dont forget water and food as there are no shops!

Ramble on. Sing my song. I was the eye in the sky. The trek was ok with nice views of Aukland from the top and around the vegetated crater. The caves were nothing to write home about. I would rate this as easy.

Get a whole new perspective of Auckland, on a clear day the 360 views are beautiful at the top. Great way to see volcanic stone on this iconic island.
