Day 4 of Annapurna 5-day trek to Poon Hill. This portion's destination is Ghandruk; a relatively short day, about 3 hours mostly downhill. You can consider continuing to Kimche. However Ghandruk has many good guest houses (while Kimche has almost none) and some sightseeing; there is a small local museum, a monastery and a temple. Take a rest in Ghandruk to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the warmer temperature at the lower altitude. From Tadopani you descend through the last mossy Rhododendron forest, through deep gorges, along a clear creek. Closer to Ghandruk the scenery starts changing to a dryer, more open forest. Ghandruk is also used as a stop-over for hikers who are on the way or returning from the ABC -Annapurna Base Camp- trek.

Beautiful trail. There's a waterfall about every 50 Ft or so it seemed.
